Position Summary
The Stock Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily stocking operations. This position assigns work, monitors productivity and supports employee training and ensures merchandise is received, stocked, rotated, and organized according to company standards. They are a link between the stock department, buyers and store management. The Stock Supervisor helps maintain a safe, clean, efficient and customer ready store.
Responsibilities

Lead daily workflow for stock team.

Assign tasks, monitor schedules and breaks.

Train, coach, and support new and current employees.

Ensure shelves are stocked, faced, rotated, clean and accurately priced.

Monitor inventory and report out-of-stock, damaged, or close-dated products.

Be aware of incoming shipments and maintain an organized warehouse.

Receive and rotate dairy, freezer, bread, deli cheese and specialty products.

Monitor cooler and freezer temperature and report concerns promptly.

Maintain cleanliness in storage areas, coolers, freezers and the sales floor.

Assist customers with product location, price checks, and general questions.

Enforce company safety policies and proper use of equipment.

Oversee closing tasks, including cleaning, lighting, and doors.

Communicate operational, attendance, safety, and perforce concerns to management.
What to Expect
This is a fast pace physically active position that involves working throughout the warehouse, sales floor, coolers, and freezers. The Stock Supervisor must be organized, dependable, comfortable directing a team and able to adjust priorities throughout the shift.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements

Stand and walk for the full scheduled shift.

Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds; heaving items require assistance or approved equipment.

Able to bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull.

Able to work in refrigerated, freezer and varying temperature environments.

Operate equipment only when properly trained and authorized.

Maintain schedule flexibility based on business needs.
